Welcome to MuslimApps.us. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our school management platform. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering for or using MuslimApps.us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy.
2. Description of Service
MuslimApps.us is a comprehensive school management platform that provides:
School administration tools for administrators
Class management and attendance tracking for teachers
Student information and communication tools for parents
Secure account management and data storage
3. Service Plans and Pricing
3.1 Standard Pricing
MuslimApps.us is available for $36 per student per year (or $24 per student per year for Sunday Schools), subject to the following terms:
Base Pricing: $36 per active student per year for full-time schools; $24 per active student per year for Sunday/weekend schools
Billing: Billed annually based on active student count
Standard Storage: 5 GB per school for document uploads (report cards, permission slips, etc.). Additional storage available upon request.
Service Features: Access to all core features including attendance, grades, assignments, parent portal, and communication tools
3.2 Additional Costs
Additional charges may apply for:
Storage Overages: Additional fees for storage usage exceeding the standard allocation included in your plan
Custom Requests: Development costs for custom features, integrations, or modifications requested by the school
Premium Support: Enhanced support services beyond standard support offerings
Data Migration: Professional services for importing large amounts of historical data
All additional costs will be clearly communicated and agreed upon in writing before services are rendered. Schools may contact us for custom pricing arrangements or special circumstances.
4. User Accounts and Responsibilities
4.1 Account Creation
To use certain features of our service, you must register for an account. You agree to:
Provide accurate, current, and complete information
Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate and current
Maintain the security of your password and account
Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
4.2 Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the service to:
Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Infringe on the rights of others
Transmit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
Interfere with the proper functioning of the service
5. Privacy and Data Protection
Your privacy is important to us. MuslimApps.us is fully compliant with federal FERPA and Illinois SOPPA regulations.
5.1 FERPA Compliance
We protect educational records under federal law with parent access rights, consent requirements, audit logging, and breach notification.
5.2 Illinois SOPPA Compliance
We commit to:
No Advertising: We never use student data for targeted ads
No Data Sale: We never sell, rent, or trade student information
No Profiling: No behavioral profiles except for educational purposes
45-Day Deletion: Parents can request data deletion within 45 days
Transparent Disclosure: Full disclosure of data collection and usage
Request deletion of student data (45-day fulfillment)
Receive breach notifications within 30 days
Opt-out of non-essential data collection

6. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of MuslimApps.us are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
7. Service Availability
While we strive to provide continuous service, we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.
8. Communication Services and Charges
8.1 Password Reset Verification
For password reset requests, MuslimApps.us uses phone number lookup to identify accounts and sends verification codes via email. This process includes:
Account lookup using registered phone numbers
Email delivery of verification codes for password reset
Secure verification process with time-limited codes
8.2 Email Communications
MuslimApps.us may send emails to users for various purposes including:
Password reset verification codes
Account notifications and updates
Important school announcements
Emergency communications
You are responsible for any data charges incurred when accessing emails from MuslimApps.us.
8.3 Data Usage
Using MuslimApps.us may require internet connectivity and data usage. You are responsible for any data charges incurred through your use of the service, including but not limited to:
Accessing the website or mobile application
Receiving email notifications
Downloading or uploading files
Using any online features or services
Data charges will be billed by your internet service provider or wireless carrier according to your data plan.
8.4 Third-Party Communication Services
MuslimApps.us uses third-party communication services to send emails. While we strive to minimize costs, you acknowledge that:
Email delivery is not guaranteed and may be delayed or fail
You may incur data charges from your service provider for received emails
You are responsible for monitoring your own communication costs
We are not liable for any charges incurred through third-party services
8.5 Communication Preferences
You can manage your communication preferences in your account settings. However, please note that opting out of certain communications may limit your access to important account features or school notifications.
9. Online Payments
9.1 Tuition and Fee Payments
MuslimApps.us provides online payment functionality that allows parents to pay tuition and fees directly through the platform. By using this feature, you agree to the following:
Payment amounts are set by your school and may vary
You are responsible for verifying the payment amount before submitting
Payments are processed securely through our third-party payment processor
Your payment card information is never stored on MuslimApps.us servers
9.2 Payment Processing
All online payments are processed through secure, PCI-compliant third-party payment processors. By making a payment, you agree to:
Provide accurate and complete payment information
Authorize the charge to your payment method
Accept the payment processor's terms of service
9.3 Refunds and Disputes
Refund policies are determined by your school, not by MuslimApps.us. For any payment disputes, refund requests, or billing inquiries:
Contact your school administration directly
Keep your payment confirmation and receipt for your records
Dispute resolution is between you and your school
MuslimApps.us is not responsible for refunds, payment disputes, or billing issues between parents and schools.
9.4 Payment Security
We take payment security seriously. Our payment processing includes:
PCI DSS Compliance: All payment processing meets Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards
Encryption: All payment data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2+
No Card Storage: Credit card numbers are never stored on our servers
Fraud Protection: Our payment processor provides fraud detection and prevention
9.5 Payment Receipts and History
After each successful payment:
You will receive an email confirmation with payment details
Your payment history is available in your parent portal
You can view and track all payments made for your children
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MuslimApps.us shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.
11. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the service at our discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the service. Your continued use of the service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
