Welcome to muslimapps.us. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our Islamic school management platform. By accessing or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By registering for or using muslimapps.us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as well as our Privacy Policy.

2. Description of Service

muslimapps.us is a comprehensive Islamic school management platform that provides:

• School administration tools for administrators
• Class management and attendance tracking for teachers
• Student information and communication tools for parents
• Secure account management and data storage

3. Service Plans and Pricing

3.1 Standard Pricing

MuslimApps.us is available for $36 per student per year (or $24 per student per year for Sunday Schools), subject to the following terms:

• Base Pricing: $36 per active student per year for full-time schools; $24 per active student per year for Sunday/weekend schools
• Minimum Annual Charge: $1,188 per year (covers up to 33 students for full-time or 49 students for Sunday schools)
• Contract Term: One-year minimum commitment required
• Billing: Billed annually based on active student count
• Standard Storage: 5 GB per school for document uploads (report cards, permission slips, etc.). Additional storage available upon request.
• Service Features: Access to all core features including attendance, grades, assignments, parent portal, and communication tools

3.2 Additional Costs

Additional charges may apply for:

• Storage Overages: Additional fees for storage usage exceeding the standard allocation included in your plan
• Custom Requests: Development costs for custom features, integrations, or modifications requested by the school
• Premium Support: Enhanced support services beyond standard support offerings
• Data Migration: Professional services for importing large amounts of historical data

All additional costs will be clearly communicated and agreed upon in writing before services are rendered. Schools may contact us for custom pricing arrangements or special circumstances.

4. User Accounts and Responsibilities

4.1 Account Creation

To use certain features of our service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate and current
• Maintain the security of your password and account
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

4.2 Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the service to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of others
• Transmit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the service

5. Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our service, you consent to the collection and use of information as outlined in our Privacy Policy.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of muslimapps.us are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

7. Service Availability

While we strive to provide continuous service, we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without notice.

8. Communication Services and Charges

8.1 Password Reset Verification

For password reset requests, muslimapps.us uses phone number lookup to identify accounts and sends verification codes via email. This process includes:

• Account lookup using registered phone numbers
• Email delivery of verification codes for password reset
• Secure verification process with time-limited codes

8.2 Email Communications

muslimapps.us may send emails to users for various purposes including:

• Password reset verification codes
• Account notifications and updates
• Important school announcements
• Emergency communications

You are responsible for any data charges incurred when accessing emails from muslimapps.us.

8.3 Data Usage

Using muslimapps.us may require internet connectivity and data usage. You are responsible for any data charges incurred through your use of the service, including but not limited to:

• Accessing the website or mobile application
• Receiving email notifications
• Downloading or uploading files
• Using any online features or services

Data charges will be billed by your internet service provider or wireless carrier according to your data plan.

8.4 Third-Party Communication Services

muslimapps.us uses third-party communication services to send emails. While we strive to minimize costs, you acknowledge that:

• Email delivery is not guaranteed and may be delayed or fail
• You may incur data charges from your service provider for received emails
• You are responsible for monitoring your own communication costs
• We are not liable for any charges incurred through third-party services

8.5 Communication Preferences

You can manage your communication preferences in your account settings. However, please note that opting out of certain communications may limit your access to important account features or school notifications.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, muslimapps.us shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your account and access to the service at our discretion, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

11. Data Export and Deletion

11.1 Data Ownership

All data entered into muslimapps.us by schools, administrators, teachers, parents, and students remains the property of the respective school (Customer). muslimapps.us acts as a Data Processor on behalf of the school (Data Controller).

11.2 Data Export

Upon written request, muslimapps.us will provide a complete export of Customer's data in standard formats (CSV, ZIP). The following terms apply:

• Complimentary Export: One (1) complimentary data export is included upon contract termination
• Additional Exports: Additional or ad-hoc data export requests may incur a service fee as specified in the current pricing schedule
• Export Format: Data will be provided in industry-standard formats including CSV files for tabular data and original file formats for uploaded documents
• Processing Time: Data export requests will be processed within five (5) business days of receipt

11.3 Data Deletion

Data deletion will occur under the following circumstances:

• Upon Customer Request: Customer data will be permanently deleted from production systems thirty (30) days after export delivery, allowing time for verification
• Contract Termination: Upon termination of service, Customer will receive a data export, and data will be permanently deleted thirty (30) days after export delivery
• Backup Retention: Backup copies will be purged within ninety (90) days of the deletion date
• Confirmation: Customer will receive written confirmation upon completion of data deletion

11.4 Customer Responsibilities

Customer is solely responsible for:

• Downloading and securely storing exported data
• Verifying the completeness and accuracy of exported data before the deletion window closes
• Maintaining their own backups of critical data during active service
• Complying with applicable data retention laws (e.g., FERPA) after receiving exported data

11.5 Exceptions

Data may be retained beyond the standard deletion timeline if:

• Required by law or legal process
• Necessary to resolve pending disputes or billing issues
• Specifically requested by the Customer in writing

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the service. Your continued use of the service after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
